We truly enjoyed our recent visit with Grandpa and Grandma Bondurant. Because it was so hot here in Dallas, we spent a lot of time indoors, but we came up with many ways to entertain ourselves. Ford found that Grandma Bondurant (a former basketball player) was a great basketball coach and spent a good amount of time shooting hoops indoors while Grandma counted the baskets he made. Emerson put on quite a show--smiling, cooing, and drooling--and was happy to meet her Grandparents for the first time. Check out our Shutterfly Share site for pictures and video. We did get out to do some shopping (thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the cute outfits for E and the cool sunglasses for Ford!) and eating; two of the best things Dallas has to offer.
We appreciate the long trip that the Grandparents Bondurant made coming from Virginia. We look forward to seeing them again this fall when we make the trip to Alexandria.
